Language :

The original feature of the language of Dumuria upazila is similar to those of other upazilas of Bangladesh, but some diversity is found. Besides, many people also use regional language. The language of this upazila is very similar with the language of Narail, Faridpur and Gopalganj districts.

 

The governmental organizations working in this upazila are :

The non-governmental and local culture organizations are working in this upazila :

* Udichi Industrial Group, Dumuria.

* Rainbow Group Theater, Dumuria.

 Apart from this, various cultural organizations are working here.

 

Literature-Culture :

In the culture of any area, the character of the people of the area-family-tribe-society-or the other person emerges. That is why culture is the mirror of the nation. Dumuria Upazila is culturally rich. This upazila is generally considered non-communal, peaceful and visiting guests. This upazila is well-known for the development of sports literature, lyrics and painting in ancient times.
